Brain Storm Series: Treating Glioblastoma Multiforme

Glioblastoma Multiforme (GBM) is a primary brain tumour that has a dire prognosis for patients despite the current aggressive standard of care. Dure S. Khan from the Queen’s Centre for Neuroscience Studies will share how Focused Ultrasound (FUS) and microbubbles, early-stage, less invasive treatment options, are being investigated as a potential alternative for treating GBM.
